abstract |
PURPOSE: To make it possible to form a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in heat resistance, processability, chemical resistance and impact resistance by mixing polyphenylene ether with a modified propylene polymer and a specified rubberlike substance in a specified ratio. n CONSTITUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition contains a polyphenylene ether or a composition (a) containing it, a modified propylene polymer graft- copolymerized with a styrene monomer or a modified propylene polymer (b-i) graft-copolymerized with a mixture of a styrene monomer with a monomer copolymerizable therewith or a composition (b-ii) containing said modified propylene polymer and a propylene polymer and at least two rubberlike substances (c) at least either of which is compatible with component (a) and at least either of which is incompatible with component (a). The mixing ratio among components (a)-(c) is such that a:b=(1-90):(99-10), and 1-50 pts.wt. component (c) is present per 100 pts.wt. total of components (a) and (b). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
