titleOfInvention Body weight-increasing agent and its production and its use
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a body weight-increasing agent for bred animals, containing 1-(3,5-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-(tert-butylamino)ethanol or its salt. n CONSTITUTION: This body weight-increasing agent contains 1-(3,5- dihydroxyphenyl)-2-(tert-butylamino)ethanol or its acid adduct salt and 0.001-90wt.% of an inactive solid or liquid carrier (e.g. corn starch, silicon dioxide, soybean oil), and is used in the form of feed auxiliaries, premixes, drinking water auxiliaries, large granules, microcapsules, etc. The introduction of the agent into the stomach or blood of a bred animal such as bred bird, pig, cattle or sheep enables to increase the body weight of the bred animal, enhance the utility of feeds and breed the animal suitable for meat at a low cost. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
