titleOfInvention Production of pavement material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a pavement material excellent in resistance to both low and high temperatures and abrasion resistance and prevented from decreasing in slip resistance for a long time by mixing blown asphalt as a base with a lubricating oil, semiblown asphalt, slaked lime, and fine steel slag particles. n CONSTITUTION: This material is obtained by mixing blown asphalt as a base with a lubricating oil or a waste lubricating oil, semiblown asphalt, slaked lime and fine steel slag particles and kneading the obtained mixture with heating. The mixing ratio among the respective components is usually such that about 5-40wt.% lubricating oil or waste lubricating oil, about 5-40wt.% semiblown asphalt, about 15-35wt.% slaked lime and about 5-15wt.% steel slag particles are used per 100wt.% blown asphalt. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
