NEW MATERIAL:A physiologically active polypeptide losing 1-12 amino acid residues on amino end side and having a sequence containing substitution of 157th Leu to Phe or a polypeptide linking Met to the above-mentioned polypeptide in an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula and shown by sequence from 1st Val to 157th Leu. n USE: An antiulcer agent. n PREPARATION: For example, in an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula, a recombinant microbial cell transformed by a recombinant plasmid containing a DNA domain coding a physiologically active polypeptide losing 1-12 amino acid residues on amino end side in an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula and having a sequence containing substitution of the 157th Leu to Phe or polypeptide linking Met to amino ends of the above-mentioned polypeptide is cultured and the aimed product is separated from the cultured material to provide the physiologically active polypeptide. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
