titleOfInvention Production of heat-curable resin
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject heat curable resin excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical characteristics by reacting a specified polycyclic imino ether, epoxy compound and amine compound containing an aliphatic or alicyclic amino group in a specified ratio in the presence of an acid catalyst under heating. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A polycyclic imino ether [preferably 2,2'-bis(2-oxazoline), etc.] of formula I (R is n valent hydrocarbon residue; Z is direct bond or group of formula II, Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, Re and Rf are H, methyl, etc.; n is 2-4), (B) an epoxy compound [preferably glycidyl ether of 2,2'-bis(4hydroxyphenyl)propane(bisphenol A), etc.] and (C) an amine compound (preferably ethylenediamine, etc.) containing one or more aliphatic or alicyclic amino groups are reacted in a ratio of 10-70wt.% component (A) and 0.2 ≤ number of equivalent of active hydrogen in the component (C)/number of epoxy equivalent of component (B)≤2 in the presence of an acid catalyst under heating, thus obtaining the objective heat curable resin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
