abstract PURPOSE: To contrive higher adhesion of a thermal recording ink layer, a magnetic layer or a UV-curable ink layer to a polyester base by providing a primer layer on a polyester film by use of a resin comprising a specified region having a glass transition point in a specified range. n CONSTITUTION: A primer layer is provided on a polyester film, and a thermal recording ink layer and a magnetic layer and/or a UV-curable type ink layer are provided on the primer layer. The primer layer is formed of a resin comprising a carboxy-modified styrene-butadiene copolymer having a glass transition point (Tg) of -40 to +20°C and an aqueous polyurethane resin having a carboxylic acid group or a base thereof. The thickness of the primer layer is 0.005-0.4μm. The weight ratio of the carboxy-modified styrene-butadiene copolymer to the urethane resin is in the range from 10:90 to 90:10. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
