titleOfInvention | Immunoadsorbent for remedy of malignant tumor, etc., and remedying method using the same agent |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a composition useful for the remedy of malignant tumor and autoimmune diseases by preparing a specific polypeptide fragment having an Fc bonding region linkable to the Fc region of an immunoglobulin and producible by a gene recombination technique and supporting the obtained polypeptide fragment on an inert carrier. n CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide produced by adding cysteine to the N-terminal or C-terminal of a polypeptide fragment of protein A originated from Staphylococcus aureus Cowan I strain and constituting an Fc bonding region linkable to the Fc region of an immunoglobulin is produced by a gene recombination technique and the obtained polypeptide is supported on an inert carrier to obtain the objective immunoadsorbent. The immobilization of the polypeptide on a carrier can be carried out under mild and easy condition by the addition of cysteine. The plasma, serum or whole blood extracted from a living body is made to contact with the immunoadsorbent and the treated plasma, etc., is introduced into the same kind of a living body to effect the remedy of malignant tumor and autoimmune diseases. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
