abstract PURPOSE: To prevent mixing up of a base coat layer and a top coat layer by applying a solution paint composed of a coat formable resin component consisting of alkyd resin, a crosslinking resin, and cellulose acetate butylate and a pigment. n CONSTITUTION: A coat formable resin component consisting of 100 pts.wt. of a crosslinking resin with alkyd resin or polyester resin and 1-10 pts.wt. of cellulose acetate butylate and a solution paint containing a pigment in volume concentration higher by 0-10% than that of a top coat are applied as a base coat on a coating object. Then, while the coating is not cured, a solution paint containing alkyd resin and crosslinking resin as main coat forming resins and pigment with similar color to that of the base coat is applied as a top coat on the base coat and both coats are simultaneously cured by heat to form a coating film. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
