titleOfInvention Thermosensitive recording material
abstract PURPOSE:To reduce density deterioration rate when data is printed at high sensitivity and energy in the presence of attaching head waste by adding specific alkylammonium salt to an intermediate layer between a thermosensitive recording layer and a support. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate layer between a support and a thermosensitive recording layer contains a compound expressed by the formula, or a substance produced with one kind or more of materials such as clay, calcium carbonate and silica, and bentonite pigment, and alkylammonium salt expressed by the formula. In the formula, R1 to R4 are H or an alkyl group, the sum of carbon atoms of R1 to R4 is 14 or more. X is an anionic atom or an atomic group and X is represented by CO <-> or NO. These alkyl ammonium salts are dimethyldiatearylammoniumchloride, dimethyldicetylammoniumchloride, diemthyldistearylammoniumcarbonate, etc. These ammonium salts can be used in a combined form of two kinds or more, and the amount of use is not necessarily limited. However, it is preferable to apply 0.05g/m<2> to 6g/m<2> of alkylammonium salt in the solid form on the support.
