titleOfInvention | Aerosol composition for artificial snow formation |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition having excellent durability, not causing corrosion in can, forming artificial snow having a feeling of volume, consisting of a specific acrylic polymer, higher fatty acid and propellant comprising trichloromonofluoromethane, etc. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition containing (A) an acrylic (co)polymer obtained by subjecting (i) ≥70wt.% one or more monomers selected from methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, n-propyl methacrylate, isopropyl methacrylate, N-butyl methacrylate, isobutyl methacrylate, sec-butyl methacrylate and t-butyl methacrylate and (ii) 0-30wt.% monomer copolymerizable with the component (i) to suspension polymerization and having 10-90°C glass transition temperature, (B) 12-18C higher fatty acid and (C) a propellant comprising trichloromonofluoromethane and dimethyl ether. The composition is readily producible, will neither collapse even in application to faces at ≥30°C nor will cause cracking after drying. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
