abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition which can kill adult insects in several hours to several days and inhibit growth of larvae and oviposition through their feces by using, as active ingredients, an insect growth inhibitor such as juvenile hormone and slow acting insecticide such as boric acid. n CONSTITUTION: The title composition contains 0.05 to 10wt.% of an insect growth inhibitor such as juvenile hormone, its analogues or ecdysis inhibitor and 0.1 to 5wt.% of slow acting insecticide such as boric acid, borate, amidinohydrazine insecticide (10 to 50wt.% in case of boric acid). This composi tion is effective against cockroaches, ants, termites, bees and fleas and can kill the insects which eat the composition in several hours to several days. Further, it is scattered through their feces over their environment and the insects which have contact with them are inhibited in growth and oviposition whereby their propagation can be prevented. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
