abstract PURPOSE: To achieve a highly sensitive analysis by using ion exchange or inverse phase from a matrix or an excretion obtained from the matrix and separating acetylcyanamide by high-performance liquid chromatography. n CONSTITUTION: Acetylcyanamide is separated by high-performance chromatography using ion exchange or inverse phase from a matrix or an extraction obtained from the matrix and the acetylcyanamide is measured at a wavelength of 220nm by the spectral photometric method. In this case, for example, two continuous separation columns 5 and 6 need to be used to measure acetylcyanamide in urine and a pump 1 discharges an analysis sample injected into the separation column 5 to an exit 13 via a back-pressure device 7 in the case of a position 11 of a switching valve 8.
