abstract PURPOSE: To improve determination sensitivity and practicability by constituting the dye forming compsn. incorporated in the measuring element of a 4- aminoantipyrine deriv. and the arom. amine compd. expressed by the specific formula and incorporating this arom. amine compd. into a high-polymer material which is soluble in a low boiling point solvent having miscibility with water. n CONSTITUTION: The measuring element is formed by laminating at least a reagent layer and development layer on a liquid impermeable base and incorporating a material which has a peroxidizing effect and the dye forming compsn. into the element. This dye forming compsn. consists of the 4-aminoantipyrine deriv. and the arom. amine compd. expressed by the formula (where R 1 is a hydrogen atom, 1 to 3C alkyl group; R 2 is a substd. or unsubstd. 1 to 3C sulfoalkyl group or the salt thereof; R 3 and R 4 denote any of a hydrogen atom, methyl group or methoxy group) and is incorporated into the high-polymer material which is soluble in the low boiling point solvent having miscibility with water. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
