abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in impact resistance, heat resistance and flame retardancy by mixing a thermoplastic resin with an inorganic filler coated with an unsaturated fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. inorganic filler (e.g., calcium aluminate hydrate) of a mean particle diameter of 0.1mum-1mm is coated with 0.05-7 pts.wt. 10-30C unsaturated fatty acid (e.g., oleic acid). 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (e.g., PP resin) is mixed with at least 200 pts.wt. coated filler.
