titleOfInvention | Filter membrane |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the title filter membrane having excellent filtration performance and resistance to chlorine and alkalis by using the piperazine-based co-polyamide consisting of a structural unit shown by a specified formula. CONSTITUTION:A diamine compd. such as 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone and a piperazine-based compd. such as piperazine are mixed in the molar ratio 95/5-35/65, an acid up-taking agent such as pyridine is added to the mixture, and the admixture is dissolved in a solvent such as N-methylpyrolidone. An aromatic polycarboxylic acid component such as isophthalic dichloride is added to the soln. to cause polymerization, and the piperazine-based co-polyamide consisting of the building units expressed by formulas 1 and 2 and wherein the ratio of the unit 1 to the unit 2 is controlled to 95/5-35/65 is obtained. The co-polyamide is dissolved in a solvent along with a nonsolvent (pore forming agent) such as polyethylene glycol to form a spinning soln. The soln. is discharged from a spinneret having an annular slit into water, and a hollow yarn membrane is obtained. |
