abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a medium which decreases corrosion to a magnetic head by forming a magnetic layer by using a vinyl chloride resin and glycidyl methacrylate and/or glycidyl acrylate resin as the binder of magnetic powder. n CONSTITUTION: The vinyl chloride resin and the glycidyl methacrylate and/or glycidyl acrylate resin and the resin copolymerized with methacrylate and/or acrylate monomer are used as the binder to be used as the binder of the magnetic powder. The number average mol.wt. of the glycidyl methacrylate and/or glycidyl acrylate resin is specified to 5,000W150,000.
