abstract | PURPOSE: To readily and industrially advantageously obtain the subject compound useful for intermediate of herbicide in high yield by reacting substituted benzene with 5-hydroxypyrazoles and CO in co-existence of base and catalyst of VIII group in table of periodic law of elements. n CONSTITUTION: A substituted benzene expressed by formula I (X is Br, I or base of diazoniumtetrafuluoroboric acid; R 1 is 1-4C alkyl and alkoxy, OH, 3-6C alkoxyalkoxy or 2-5C alkoxyalkyl, etc.; R 3 is 1-2C alkylthio or alkylsulfinyl, CF 3 , NO 2 or halogen, etc.; with a proviso that R 1 -R 3 is F or C where X is Br; R 1 -R 3 is F, C or Br where X is I) is reacted with 5-hydroxypyrazoles expressed by formula II (A is 1-3C alkyl, allyl or propargyl; B is H or CH 3 ) and CO in co-existence of a base and a catalyst of VIII group in table of periodic law of elements to obtain the aimed compound expressed by formula III. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
