abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain an antiulcer agent containing dried beer yeast as an active ingredient with hardly any side effects even in ingestion thereof in a large amount. n CONSTITUTION: An antiulcer agent, containing a dried beer yeast as an active ingredient and capable of exhibiting effects on inhibition of gastric mucomembranous damage caused by alcohol or stress. If an anti-inflammatory agent, such as aspirin or indomethacin, causing disorder in the gastric mucous membrane is used with the above-mentioned antiulcer agent in combination, disorder thereof is relieved.
