titleOfInvention Method for absorbing and desorbing isotope of hydrogen
abstract PURPOSE: To suppress the generation of heat at the time of absorption, to raise the level of heating temp. at the time of desorption and to increase recovering efficiency by dispersing tungsten particles in a layer of metal particles absorbing isotopes of hydrogen. n CONSTITUTION: Tungsten particles are dispersed in a layer of metal particles absorbing isotopes of hydrogen, e.g., Zr, Ti or Zr-V alloy particles by 20-80wt.%. Isotopes of hydrogen (hydrogen, deuterium and tritium) are absorbed in the resulting layer by contact with the layer at the temp. from ordinary temp. to several hundred °C for ≤1min and the absorbed isotopes are desorbed by heating to 900-1,000°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
