PURPOSE: To obtain a contact lens excellent in wettability, flexibility and oxygen permeability by using a crosslinked polymer having polyoxyalkylene-contg. specified segments. n CONSTITUTION: This contact lens is formed using a crosslinked polymer represented by formula I, wherein W is a 1-8, D is O or NR 7 (where R 7 is H, a lower alkyl or phenyl), L is BRB', BR or RB' (where each of B and B' is represented by one of formulae II, the carbonyl group bonds to A or D, and R is a divalent ≤25C aliphatic group which may be divided by a dividing unit such as oxy or carbonyloxy, etc.) and A is a copolymer block of polyoxyalkylene. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO |
