titleOfInvention Ink ribbon
abstract PURPOSE: To remarkably eliminate the abrasion of a printing wire of an impact printer and to maintain well the characteristic of printing density in a near infrared region, by mixing graphite into ribbon ink containing iron black as one color material, at a predetermined concentration. n CONSTITUTION: Graphite is contained by 0.1 to 10 weight parts in an ink ribbon using iron black as a color material, whereby the abrasion of an iron based printing wire can be eliminated. When the graphite is mixed 0.1 weight part or less, the effect is small. On the other hand, when the graphite is mixed 10 weight parts or more, the fluidity of the ribbon ink is deteriorated, and it becomes difficult to apply or impregnate the ink uniformly into a base cloth of the ink ribbon. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
