titleOfInvention Antithrombotic medical molded product and manufacture thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To make a title molded product practically insoluble and to provide excellent antithrombic property, by a method wherein glycerin is contained in a moulded prod surface, a polyvinyl alcohol series polymer having the specified degree of crystallization is coated, and after drying, heat treatment is applied. n CONSTITUTION: A high molecular material, e.g., polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, polyethylene, and a metal and ceramics can be listed as a base material. A method of covering the base material surface with a polyvinyl alcohol series polymer is such that a base material is immersed in a solution or the solution is coated on a surface and adhered to the surface by spray and thereafter it is dried. In this case, glycerin is added in the polyvinyl alcohol series polymer solution. A content is preferably a range of from 5 50 wt.pts. based on 100 wt.pts. a polymer. After the base material is covered with the polyvinyl alcohol series polymer, heat treatment is executed to improve the degree of crystallization. It is desirable that heat treatment is effected in a range of from 50 to 150°C, and a treatment time is regulated so that the degree of crystallization is adjusted to at least 0.26 and up to 0.32. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
