abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition improved in heat resistance and impact strength in both states before and after moisture absorption by mixing nylon 46 resin with a thermoplastic polyamideimide resin. n CONSTITUTION: An adipic acid (functional derivative) (a) is condensed with tetramethylenediamine (functional derivative) (66) to obtain a nylon 46 resin (A) of an intrinsic viscosity (in m-cresol at 35°C) of 0.60-1.90. Separately, a carboxylic acid (c) based on an imide-dioarboxylic acid (amide-forming derinative) of formula I (wherein n is 2-12) is reacted with (d) diaminodiphenyl sulfone or 3,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether and/or amide-forming derivatives thereof to obtain a thermoplastic polyamideimide resin (B) of formula II (wherein R 1 is a 2-12C alkylene, a 7-15C aralkylene, a 6-15C cycloalkylene, a 6-15C arylene, and R 2 is a 6-15C arylene) and an inherent viscosity ≥0.3. 100 pts.wt. component A is mixed with 2-200 pts.wt. component B. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
