abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to exploit scraps produced when a laminate containing a polyolefin and a polyamide is molded by pelletizing the scraps under specified conditions and blending the obtained pellets with a virgin polyolefin. n CONSTITUTION: Scraps such as flashes produced when a laminate or laminate structure containing a polyolefin and a polyamide, for example, a gasoline tank comprising a highdensity polyethylene/adhesive/nylon-6/adhesive/high-density polyethylene are melt-extruded at a temperature ≥260°C, especially, 260-280°C to form pellets. These pellets are blended with pellets of a virgin polyolefin resin in a weight ratio of 1:99-99:1, especially, 5:95-30:70 to obtain a resin composition. This composition in which the polyamide resin is uniformly dispersed in the form of fine particles of a max. particle diameter of 0.1-10μm, especially, 0.2-4μm has properties equivalent to those of the virgin polyolefin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
