abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title org. fertilizer contg. various kinds of micronutrient by using a fertilizing component contained in the milk serum of sweet whey, etc., by-produced in the production of cheese from milk as the effective component. n CONSTITUTION: The milk serum consisting of a liq. (sweet whey) by-produced in the production of cheese from milk or the residue (acid whey) from the separation of casein from defatted milk is used as the raw material. The milk serum is ultrafiltered to obtain a permeated liq. (permeate). The permeate is concentrated to deposit lactose which is recovered, and the mother liquor is separated.
