titleOfInvention Combination of pyrimidine derivative with urea and/or allantoin derivative for inducing and stimulating the growth of hair and for reducing loss of hair
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a hair-treating agent composition comprising a pyrimidine derivative and urea and/or an allantoin derivative, free from irritation, having a hydrating property, a bacterium growth-inhibiting property and a keratin property, inducing and stimulating the growth of hair and reducing the loss of the hair. n CONSTITUTION: This composition for hair comprises the component A containing at least one of a pyrimidine derivative of formula I [R 1 is a group of formula II (R 3 , R 4 are each H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, etc.; or R 3 and R 4 form a heterocyclic ring together with the adjacent N); R 2 is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an aryl, a cycloalkyl, etc.,] and physiologically permissible acid adducts (e.g. 6-amino-1,2- dihydro-1-hydroxy-2-imino-4-diethylaminopyrimidine) in a physiologically permissible medium, and a compound of formula III (R is a group of formula IV), its physiologically permissible salt or complex (e.g. urea, allantoin). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
