abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a toiletry product capable of stabilizing enzymatic activity for a long period of time by blending a base with a protease, surfactant, enzymatic activity stabilizer, polyhydric alcohol and ethanol. CONSTITUTION:A base is blended with an enzyme (e.g., ASP protease) having protein hydrolyzing power, a nonionic surfactant and/or anionic surfactant and/or betaine acetate surfactant or imidazoline surfactant, one or more of collagen, elastin and albumin, a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerin, propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol or 1,3-butylene glycol. The blend is prepared in such a way that total water content in the components is 0-90wt.% to give the aimed substance. The aimed substance can be prepared into a form such as cream, emulsion, jelly or solution and is usable as toiletry products such as shampoo, rinse, dentifrice, detergent of cloth and bathing agent.
