abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a pest controlling agent having synergistic effect, by combining a compound such as 4-ethoxyphenyl-dimethyl-[3-(4-fluoro-3-phenoxyphenyl)- propyl]-silane with a compound such as endosulfan. CONSTITUTION: This pest controlling agent for insects, mite and nematode, comprises a combination of a compound of formula I (M is C or Si; X is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, pyridyl, etc.; R<2> and R<3> are each an alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl, etc.; R<4> is H, CN, CCl3 , C=CH, an alkyl, etc.; R<5> is pyridyl, furyl, phthalimidyl, etc.; R<6> is H, an alkyl, or phenyl) with a compound selected from among endosulfan, buprofezin, cyromazine, etc., or a compound of formula II (R15 to R18 are each H or a halogen; R19 is CH3 , CF3 , etc.; R20 is a haloalkyl) or a compound of formula III (R21 and R22 are each H or a halogen). |
