abstract PURPOSE: To manufacture a heat sealing roller, flat, smooth and of superior performance by setting a fluorine resin tube into a cylindrical mold together with a stem, fixing the same, charging forcibly liquid-like silicone rubber from the lower section while being expanded, and curing the same in the pressurized state. n CONSTITUTION: A fluorine resin tube 5 is inserted into a stem 6 standing and being retained on a lower section cap material 2 and fixed with by utilizing a fastening tool 8 on the outer periphery of the lower section cap material 2. A cylindrical mold 1 is inserted on a lower section cap material 2 and the upper end of the fluorine resin tube 5 is closely fixed with the peripheral wall of the cylindrical mold 1 with a fastening tool 8 and sealed, and then the upper section cap material 3 is inserted and a stem 5 is positioned concentrically with the cylindrical mold 1. Liquid-like silicone rubber 7 is forcibly charged from a nozzle into a mold through a stem through- hole 2b of the lower section cap 2 to push up the stem 6 and flowed into a space between the stem 6 and a cylindrical mold 1. The rubber material 7 flowed from a stem through-hole 3b of the upper section cap 3 into a recessed section 3c is pressed with a push-back cap 4 and heated to cure the silicone rubber. Releasing, heat treatment and finishing process are carried out to manufacture a fluorine tube covered silicone rubber roller. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
