abstract | PURPOSE:To measure a boron, sodium, or fluoric acid solution sample by using platinum or platinum-based alloy. CONSTITUTION:When an ICP (induction coupled plasma) light emission analysis is taken, a platinum sintered filter 1 is fixed in a gas supply chamber 2 with a filter presser 5 and an atomizing chamber 10 is fitted thereto. Then a sample is made to stick and penetrate the filter 1 through a sample intake pipe 6. Further, gaseous Ar which is used for the ICP is supplied to the supply chamber 2 held at necessary pressure from a gas supply port 4 and passes through the filter 1 having numbers of fine pores to produce mist of small size. This sample mist is sent to the gaseous Ar and admitted to a torch from a torch connection port 11. At this time, when platinum is used for the filter 1, boron and sodium are measured without being disturbed by the measurement of the fluoric acid solution sample. Further, only the filter 1 is decomposed, taken out, and cleaned efficiently. |
