abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition adapted for automobile bumpers, spoilers, etc., by imparting thereto low-temperature impact resistance, by mixing an aromatic polycarbonate with a polyalkylene terephthalate, a rubbery polymer- grafted copolymer and a polysiloxane. n CONSTITUTION: An impact-resistant resin composition is formed by mixing 0W97 pts.wt., desirably, 40W70 pts.wt., aromatic polycarbonate (e.g., L-1250, a product of Teijin Kasei) and/or polyarylate (A) (e.g., Upolymer-U-100, a product of Yunitika), 0W97 pts.wt., desirably, 20W40 pts. wt., polyalkylene terephthalate (B), desirably, polybutylene (or ethylene) terephthalate, 3W50 pts.wt., desirably, 5W20 pts.wt. graft copolymer (C) obtained by grafting at least one member selected from among styrene, acrylonitrile and a (meth)acrylic monomer onto a conjugated diene rubber, an acrylic rubber or the like, and 0.05W5 pts. wt., desirably, 0.2W3 pts.wt. polysiloxane (D) (viscosity of 100W400000) in amounts to give the total of 100 pts.wt. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
