titleOfInvention Deodorant for organic fertilizer
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a deodorant for organic fertilizer, removing a putrid smell thereof without damaging characteristics of the organic fertilizer, also effective for soil improvement, by blending blast furnace slag having adjusted particle size with stabilized chlorine dioxide, ferric oxide and flavonoid of green tea. n CONSTITUTION: A deodorant for organic fertilizer obtained by impregnating blast furnace slag having adjusted particle size with an aqueous solution of stabilized chlorine dioxide, suspension of ferric oxide and an aqueous solution of flavonoid of green tea. Since the blast furnace slag having adjusted particle size is porous, can contain the above-mentioned compound in a wet state as it is, brings about characteristic deodorizing effects of stabilized chlorine dioxide and ferric oxide on a sulfur-based odor and of flavonoid of green tea a nitrogen- based odor and can remove a smell of the organic fertilizer whose odor elements are difficult to specify. Since the blast furnace slag is porous, a large amount of oxygen is taken in the organic fertilizer, decomposition of the fertilizer is assisted and soil can be improved. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
