abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a herbicide composition capable of selectively controlling weeds in soybean fields and peanut fields without phytotoxicity, by using a specific 2-substituted-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-isoindol-1,3(2H)-dione and alachlor, etc. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A compound shown by the formula is blended with (B) N-methoxymethyl-2',6'-diethyl-2-chloroacetanilide(alachlor) or N--(2-methoxy-1- methylethyl)-2',6'-diethyl-2-chloroacetanilide(metrachlor) as active ingredients in the ratio of usually 1 pt.wt. component A and 2W100 pts.wt., preferably 4W60 pts. wt. component B to give a herbicide composition which has synergistically increased herbicidal power, enlarges herbicidal spectrum and can selectively destroy a wide range of weeds especially in soybean fields and peanut fields with a small amount without exerting phytotoxicity to as soybeans and peanuts. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
