titleOfInvention Solvent-resistant resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a solvent-resistant resin composition, consisting of a specific modified polyphenylene ether and modified polyphenylene sulfide, good in compatibility and excellent in solvent resistance, mechanical properties and moldability. n CONSTITUTION: A solvent-resistant resin composition consisting of (A) 5-95wt.% modified polyphenylene ether obtained by modifying a polyphenylene ether, preferably poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene) ether, etc., with a modifying agent (preferably maleic anhydride, glycidyl acrylate, etc.) simultaneously having (A 1 ) ethylenically unsaturated bond and (A 2 ) functional groups selected from COOH, acid anhydride groups, OH and epoxy groups in the presence (absence) of a radical initiator and (B) 95-5wt.% modified polyphenylene sulfide prepared by modifying a polyphenylene sulfide containing ≥70mol%, preferably 90mol% units expressed by the formula with a modifying agent similar to that in the component (A). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
