titleOfInvention Solid solution and non-linear optical material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a solid solution in which a large amount of guest organic compound is uniformly dissolved in host polymeric compound, having excellent mechanical strength and processability, containing a specific guest organic compound in a host polymeric compound comprising lactone polymer. n CONSTITUTION: The solid solution containing (B) a guest organic compound (preferably p-nitroaniline, etc.) having electron acceptor and electron donor together in (A) a host polymeric compound comprising lactone polymer [preferably linear or branched ring-opening polymer of (alkyl-substituted)ε-lactone]. For instance, components A and B are dissolved in a common solvent and the solvent is removed to afford said solid solution. Besides, said solvent is preferably THF, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
