PURPOSE: To obtain a catalyst having the durability against hot water, high temp. and high pressure by treating alkoxides of Ti, etc., and esters such as silicic acid ester, dissolved in an org. solvent by a specified method, converting then to specified compsn. consisting of oxides of Ti, Al, Si and B. n CONSTITUTION: The alkoxides of Ti and Al and esters of silicic acid and boric acid are dissolved in the org. solvent such as pyridine. The gelatinous substance produced by adding boric acid to the soln. is taken out, and sintered at a high temp. after the unreacted alkyl group therein is removed by hydrolysis. Thereby, the compsn. of formula [where, Q is org. template agent, a is the molar amt. of Q in 1mol (Ti w Al x Si y B z )O 2 , R is alkyl group b is the molar amt. of R in 1mol (Ti w Al x Si y B z )O 2 and c is the molar amt. of H 2 O in 1mol (Ti w Al x Si y B z )O 2 ], is obtd. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
