titleOfInvention Monoclonal antibody against plasminogen activator
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody against a human tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) capable of recognizing antigenicity determining part of the tPA in which binding is not inhibited by binding of the human plasminogen activator inhibitor.1. USE:A reagent for immunoassay of tPA, separating and purifying the tPA. PREPARATION:For example, purified tPA is administered to immunize Balb/C mouse and splenic cells are collected after the final immunization, fused to mouse myelomatous cells and then cultured in an HAT culture medium to provide a hybridoma. A clone capable of producing an antibody specific for the tPA is subsequently selected therefrom and cloned by a limiting dilution method, etc., to afford a monocloned hybridoma, which is then cultured to provide the aimed monoclonal antibody.
