titleOfInvention Contact lens with wettability, flexibility and oxygen permeability, and having polysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene block copolymer skeleton unit
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a contact lens having a humid, flexible and oxygen- permeable characteristics and having the skeletal unit of polysiloxane and polyoxyalkylene block copolymer, making possible to give a high surface humidity and oxygen permeability without any loss of a swellability. n CONSTITUTION: This contact lens is made from a crosslinked polymer of a reactive monomer having the segment of (W-S'-L-D-A-L)a. In the formula, (a) is 1-10, (D) is respectively independently oxygen or N(R21), (L) is respectively independently -BRB'-, -BR-, -RB'- or -R-, and (S) is the segment of respectively independently the general formula I], (A) is the segment of respectively independently the general formula II], and (W) is respectively single bond, oxygen or -N(R21)-. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
