abstract | NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R 1 WR 8 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, group of formula II (M is H, alkali metal or ammonium), formula III or formula IV; at least one of R 1 WR 8 is group of formula IIWformula IV]. n EXAMPLE: 6H-dibenzo[b,d]pyran-6-one-3-sulfuric acid ester potassium salt. n USE: A drug. An active component of an aldose reductase inhibitor.
