titleOfInvention Fatty emulsion of fine particle
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain fatty emulsion of fine particle hardly lowering of concentration of drug in blood and having extremely high activity of pharmacological active substance, containing fatsoluble pharmacological active substance and comprising of fine particles of average particle diameters of a specific range. n CONSTITUTION: Fat-soluble pharmacological active substances such as fat-soluble vitamin, vasodilator and sedative are dissolved in 0.1-3.0w/v% oily component (e.g., soybean oil) in heating at 70-80°C. An emulsifier (e.g., phospholipid) is added to the solution and dispersed, then emulsifying adjuvant, stabilizer, etc., are added as necessary, thus water is added and resultant emulsion is made to crude milk by a conventional method. The crude milk is subjected to a high pressure emulsifier to afford the aimed substance of 10nm-40nm average particle diameter. The fatty emulsion is filled in ample and steam sterilized under pressure, thus made to a parenteral injection. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
