abstract PURPOSE: To provide the subject carrier fleece comprising cellulose fiber, fiber made of polyester or the like and an organic binder having hydroxyl group or the like, capable of being separated from a reagent such as an impregnated antibody when being used, excellent in stability, easy to be produced and helpful for a reagent for clinical diagnosis, or the like. n CONSTITUTION: The objective carrier fleece where a reagent is impregnated separably is produced by beating (or disjoining) (A) cellulose-based fibers (e.g. staple fiber or the like), (B) polyester-based and/or polyamide-based fibers (e.g. polyester fiber or the like) and (C) an organic binder (e.g. polyvinyl alcohol or the like) having OH group and/or an ester one in 0.3 wt.% material density with water in a mixing vessel and then by sending the fiber mixture to a recirculating filtering net system with a pump, followed by dewatering it and then by drying it. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
