abstract PURPOSE: To protect the leaf surface of plant and prevent occurrence of damage by frost, by blending a colloidal ceramic mixture with polysaccharide, nucleic acid, amino acid, adhesive, spreader, etc., and applying the blend to the leaf face of plants. n CONSTITUTION: A ceramic fine powder obtained by pulverizing a fossil shell burnt at about 1,200°C to 400-2,000 mesh size is blended with water to afford a colloidal blend. Then the blend is blended with nutrient content such as polysaccharide, nucleic acid, amino acid, organic acids, hormone or vitamin and adhesive, spreader to provide a liquid blend.
