titleOfInvention Toner for developing electrostatic image
abstract PURPOSE:To stabilize a quantity of electric charge, softening point, etc., of a toner even at high temp. and in high humidity, and to improve the durability of the toner by incorporating a specified nonlinear polyester and a specified purified wax into a toner compsn. CONSTITUTION:A nonlinear polyester obtd. by esterification of a monomer component contg. >= tervalent monomer as reactive component, and a vegetable natural wax and/or montan wax purified by molecular distillation, are incorporated into a toner compsn. Suitable >= tervalent monomer is, for example, sorbitol, 1,4-sorbitan, 1,2,4-benzene tricarboxylic acid, etc. Preferred content of such >= tervalent monomer component is 0.1-80, more pref. 5-50mol.% basing on the weight of alcohol components or acid component which is a structural unit of the polymer.
