titleOfInvention Dispersant for ceramics
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a dispersant to give a stable slurry with high formability, by sulfonylating a copolymer of an α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and a cycloalkene compound. n CONSTITUTION: A copolymer having an α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride such as maleic anhydride and an alicyclic compound having olefinic double bonds such as cylcopentadiene as essential components is used for preparation of a dispersant to obtain an aqueous slurry of oxides for a ceramic. And sulfonyl or a water soluble sulfonyl salt as an organic component is added to the copolymer. A dispersant prepd. by that way has high resistance to viscosity decreasing and high time-stability when kept still. Thus, with a small amount of water, an aqueous slurry having viscosity and stability high enough for forming is obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
