PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition which is suitable for side walls, belts, hoses and rubber vibration insulator, because of its excellent processability and high tensile properties and impact resilience, by adding a specifically modified liquid polymer to rubber. n CONSTITUTION: The subject composition is obtained by adding (A) a modified liquid polymer which is prepared by reaction of a liquid polymer having carbon- carbon double bonds in the molecule such as polyisoprene with an organic compound having a group of the formula: -CS=N-, such as benzylidene methylamine and an organic acid halide of the formula: -COX (X is halogen) such as acetyl chloride in the presence of a Friedel-Craft catalyst, preferably SnCl 4 , SbCl 3 , AlCl 3 , TiCl 4 , to (B) rubber such as natural rubber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
