titleOfInvention Formation of color proof
abstract PURPOSE:To decrease the low intensity reciprocity law failure of a specific color photosensitive material and to improve the color balance by exposing the photosensitive material 3 times through color sepn. negatives and further subjecting the material to sepn. exposing 3 times through a black sepn. negative. CONSTITUTION:The color photosensitive material provided with silver halide emulsion layers having the sensitization maxima at 700+ or -15nm is imposed on a paper table in a dark room. The color sepn. negatives of yellow, magenta and cyan for printing are then successively set on the original platen in a bright room and the photosensitive material is subjected to the imagewise exposing 3 times with a fluorescent lamp as a light source successively through blue, green and red filters. Further, the black sepn. negative for printing is set on the original platen and the photosensitive material is exposed 3 times at prescribed exposing ratios successively via the blue, green and red filters. A 3-wave fluorescent lamp is preferably used of the fluorescent lamp in this case and silver halides essentially consisting of silver chlorides are preferably used for the photosensitive material.
