titleOfInvention Flame-retarding sheet
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a flame-retarding sheet excellent in flame retardancy, high transparency and not causing a SUS pipe to undergo stress corrosion or cracking by mixing a polyolefine with Mg(OH) 2 , red phosphor and a silicone oil each in a specified amount. n CONSTITUTION: A 100 pts.wt. polyolefine (e.g., PE, PP or ethylene/ethyl acrylate, while a halogenated polymer such as PVC is not suitable because it causes a SUS product to undergo stress corrosion or cracking) is mixed with 20W200 pts.wt. Mg(OH) 2 , 1W20 pts.wt. red phosphor and 1W20 pts.wt. silicone oil. Because the added Mg(OH) 2 improves flame retardancy and transparency, and the red phosphor and silicon oil used combinedly can improve flame retardancy, a flame-retarding sheet having excellent flame retardancy and high transparency and not causing a SUS pipe to undergo stress corrosion or cracking can be obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
