titleOfInvention | Black polymer molding, its production and combination of reactive solutions |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a black polymer molding in good efficiency by performing polymerization by dispersing titanium black in the reaction solution in simultaneously performing the polymerization and molding of a metathesis-polymerizable monomer in the presence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system. n CONSTITUTION: A reactive solution of a metathesis-polymerizable monomer (e.g., 5-ethylidenenorbornene) (A) containing a catalyst component (e.g., tungstenhexachloride) of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system and a reactive solution containing a metathesis-polymerizable monomer (B) containing an activator component (e.g., trioctylaluminum) of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system are prepared. Titanium black is dispersed in at least either of components (A) and (B). Subsequently, component A is mixed with component B, and the mixture is simultaneously polymerized and molded to obtain a black polymer molding. This molding can be suitably used as an automobile part or the like. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
