titleOfInvention Production of molded polyphosphazene copolymer product
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent tackiness and readily obtain the subject molded product, by dissolving a polyphosphazene with a salt of a hydroxy compound in an nonaqueous solvent, molding the resultant dope before completing reaction of both and then completing the reaction on the afore-mentioned molded product. n CONSTITUTION: A polyphosphazene (preferably 2,2,2-trifluoroethxy group- containing polyphosphazene), together with an alkaline meal salt of a hydroxy compound (preferably Na salt of 1,2,2-trifluoroethanol, etc.), is dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent (e.g., THF) to provide a molding dope, which is then molded by a method for extrusion molding, etc., before completing reaction between the side chains of the polyphosphazene and the alkaline metal salt of the hydroxy compound to afford a molded product. The afore-mentioned reaction is subsequently completed on the above-mentioned molded product to provide the aimed molded product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
