PURPOSE: To obtain the title compound of high purity where an acyl group and a halogea atom. are introduced in 2'- and 3'-positions (or 3'- and 2'-positions) in high yield, by reaction of a specific nucleoside with an acryl halide in an organic solvent containing an organic acid. n CONSTITUTION: In the organic solvent containing a 6W12C organic acid such as formic or acetic acid, a nucleoside whose 2'- and 3'-position are 1- alkoxyalkylidenized or 1-alkoxyarylalkylidenized (bases are purine or pyrimidine) is combined with 3W4 fold molar equivalents of acyl halide, organic acid anhydride and hydrogen halide to effect the reaction, preferably at 0W20°C to give the subject compound into which a halogen atom.and an acyloxy group are introduced in the 2'- and 3'-positions or 3'- or 2'-positions. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
